A warm washcloth is excellent for that.
Yep, use the baby wash cloth, wet it and wipe tongue gently after every feeding.

clean damp cloth. . My son had this also. . . They also have the finger toothbrushes at Wal-Mart. They are soft and even come with baby toothpaste!!

A soft baby toothbrush. . . . . you can make it even softer by soaking it in hot water for 5 minutes before using it (obviously let it cool off for a minute or two before putting it in the baby’s mouth!).

Just leave it. As long as the doctor said it isnt Thrush then it sould be fine.
Um I am sorry but your physician is incorrect. Thrush can be only on the tongue if it isnt that terrible. Try wiping your babies tongue with a warm clean rag and if it doesnt come off it is absolutely thrush. Baby milk typically comes off after eating on its own because of saliva.

they say just use a clean cloth but it hasn’t worked well with me. I use the small tooth brush that you slip on your finger and it has very tiny rubber bristles that works well and my child thinks its amusing. He always giggles when I do it.
My daughter had thrush and it was only on her tongue. I disagree with your doctor!
I also disagree with your doctor. I sounds like thrush to me. I would get another doctor to look at it. Just a thought
